Philippe Buchet created the Nomad series with Savoïa and Morvan at the publishing house Glénat. In 1998, he produced the humorous heroic-fantasy one-shot La Quête des Réponses in cooperation with Morvan in the magazine Dragon and the collection Humour de Rire of Delcourt. Also with Jean-David Morvan he started the science-fiction series Sillage, of which the first album appeared in February, 1998. The series became one of Delcourt's hit series and Buchet has won a prize for the comic's colouring at the 1998 Solliès comics festival. From 2004, Buchet cooperates as co-scriptwriter on the expansion of the Sillage universe, by launching the spin-off series Nävis (about the youth of the main character), drawn by José Luis Munuera, and Les Chroniques de Sillage, with artwork by various artists.
Ergänzend sei noch erwähnt, dass Philippe Buchet seit der Nr. 45 an den Spirou Alben mitarbeitet.
